Risk for discrimination at IMBIM?
There are 7 grounds for discrimination: sex, sexual orientation, transgender identity or expression, ethnicity, religion or other belief, disability and age. The Equality group at IMBIM should work pro-actively against discrimination at the workplace. We would therefore like to know if anyone believes that there is a risk for discrimination on any of these grounds at IMBIM. If there is: How can it be prevented? Please let us know, so that we can make a plan for the preventive work at the department.
You can contact Matthew Webster (chair of the group) by e-mail or anyone else in the group.
It is very important that this concerns risks for discrimination and not actual cases of discrimination. If you feel that you have been subjected to discrimination you should contact your supervisor, the personnel coordinator, Rehné Åkerblom or the Head of the Department. They are bound by professional secrecy. Students and graduate students can also contact Uppsala studentkår
You are always welcome to discuss matters concerning equality with us.
